# Imported Numbers You can import non-Sinch numbers and enable them for use with Sinch SMS messaging services. For most numbers, the following process outlines the necessary steps: 1. Add numbers using the [Create Batch](/docs/numbers/api-reference/imported-hosting/qualified-numbers/qualifiednumberservice_batchcreatequalifiednumbers) request. 2. Verify ownership of the numbers. This can be done in either the of the following ways: - [Request](/docs/numbers/api-reference/imported-hosting/qualified-numbers/qualifiednumberservice_sendvoicechallenge) a voice call to the number and [return](/docs/numbers/api-reference/imported-hosting/qualified-numbers/qualifiednumberservice_verifyvoicechallenge) the OTP code. - Email invoices which prove you own the numbers to [orders@sinch.com](mailto:orders@sinch.com). Ensure the invoices you provide explicitly list the numbers you wish to import. 3. [Text enable](/docs/numbers/api-reference/imported-hosting/qualified-numbers/qualifiednumberservice_textenablenumbers) the qualified numbers. Note that only numbers which have been qualified can be text enabled. The text enablement request will generate a Letter of Authorization (LOA) which will be emailed to the email address you provided in the request. You must e-sign the LOA to text enable the numbers. 4. Once the numbers have been text enabled, they are imported numbers and can be be [provisioned](/docs/numbers/api-reference/imported-hosting/imported-numbers/importnumberservice_listimportednumbers) to SMS plans, linked to campaigns, and used for SMS traffic. Note: Only US and Canada numbers can be imported for use with SMS services. If you have a phone number with a [NetNumber ID already provisioned for Sinch](https://community.sinch.com/t5/10DLC/How-can-you-provision-a-Network-Number-ID-NNID/ta-p/7040), you can import numbers directly and start assigning them to SMS service plans and campaigns. ## Manage in the Dashboard You can also manage imported and hosted numbers in the Sinch [Build Dashboard](https://dashboard.sinch.com/numbers/hosted-numbers/numbers).
