Troubleshooting the SMS REST API
Here are few things you can do if you encounter an error with the SMS REST API:
- Check that the HTTP request is authenticated correctly .
- Look up the error code using our HTTP error codes table which contains troubleshooting steps.
- Ensure you're using all of the required parameters.
- If you're using one of our SDKs, ensure the dependencies are available and referenced correctly.
- Check that your callback URL is correctly configured and working properly.
- If you have multiple service plans, check that the service plan ID selected matches the credentials in your call .
- If you're testing, make sure the number you're testing with is verified in the Sinch Customer Dashboard .
- Ensure you're sending from a Sinch number . Either your test number or a rented number.
